The colors of the wings are much more orange than in the picture but it makes it even more adorable. The key ring seems pretty strong and it's attached by a sewn-in ribbon to the bee. The alarm is really loud. It takes a little effort to re-insert the pin back into the bee but it's not too difficult. It would be great for a child's backpack or even belt loop. I actually bought it for my daughter who has to walk out to her car alone into a parking garage but it's a little more kid-like so I think one of my granddaughters will end up with it.
