Each section blows my mind wide open with new approaches I can take to all the different aspects of the craft. Only what’s necessary is emphasized and the guidelines on offer are clear but also inspiring. I am more than halfway done, but this is the one writing book I’ve ever wanted to finish, because I know what I learn will change everything about my approach. I tell you this as someone who has at least 50ish books on writing in my library and who’s never finished one of them. This one is different and well worth your time.My only points of criticism are, Mr Brooks gets a little abstract in some of his explanations. What I mean by that is he sometimes stuffs too many technical words into single sentences so that the meaning is lost.
