Product Description Preschoolers can make their favorite moments from the Thomas & Friends show come to life with this motorized Kenji engine from Fisher-Price! Just a flip of the switch on top of the battery-powered engine sends Kenji racing into fun adventures along any Thomas & Friends track, except wood. Train lovers can collect additional Thomas & Friends motorized trains to build a railway full of engine friends and explore Sodor like never before. (Track sets and additional trains sold separately.) Requires 2 AAA batteries. Directions 1. Remove Kenji engine and tender from packaging. 2. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the engine. 3. Attach the tender to the engine using the plastic connectors. 4. Place the engine on a compatible Thomas & Friends track. 5. Flip the switch on top of the engine to start the train. 6. Use the plastic connectors to attach other engines, vehicles, or tenders for extended play. 7. To stop the train, flip the switch back to the off position.

Decent size and not too small, and the build quality is great that it wont just break after a few uses. Fun for any thomas fan and the whole family to interact with the trains.

A: Yes I think it works on other rails. I know it works on Big Jigs train set. Most wooden train sets seem to be universal.

**Q: will this run on carpet**
A: Only a short haired carpet. It works best on hard floors.

**Q: Is this the non cartoon version**
A: No it's a reboot version

**Q: Does this fit the original blue plastic trackmaster track?**
A: We have the. Big Jigs wooden set. And I've been told that the wooden rails are universal

Kids have recently got into Thomas and Friends and become familair with the various characters. We initially purchased a track not realising that it did not include any trains, so we've been picking up additional expansions to the train track along with additionals trains to add to it. (The trains work on any surface but just go in a straight line, but on a dedicated Thomas track itll follow the train in any direction) There are 2 parts to the set, the good thing is that they can all be detached and use just the train, any combination of the carriages or even add the carriages to other trains. Decent size and not too small, and the build quality is great that it wont just break after a few uses. Fun for any thomas fan and the whole family to interact with the trains.
