They work well with my Super Saver Vacuum and seal system. these are nice and thick but not too thick, if I need to use them with sharper things like noodles I use cardstock to add extra support and protection against puncturing. I always use a 100 CC Oxygen absorber inside these bags with whatever I vacuum seal, and then put these inside a larger Mylar bag with a 300 Oxygen Absorber for added protection.Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I prefer to use bags that are already made versus the bulk packages that you cut and make your own bags. These bags are the perfect size I got 30 8"x 12" each bag is equivalent to a quart bag. There is just my husband and I and these bags hold 2-3 pieces of chicken perfectly. I had no problems with the bags sealing at all. I will definitely be purchasing more of these when I have used the ones I have. If you have a vacuum sealer you can't go wrong with these.
