I bathed her and conditioned in high-quality cleaners and conditioners but they only made a very temporary difference. I started out using one pump (it smells pretty darn good but the smell is mild) and rubbed it into her skin as much as I could. I kid you not, her skin sucked everything in like a sponge. My pup doesn't have any redness or condition specifically, but just seems itchy with the winter. The lotion helps and it even feels good on my hands after I have applied it to him. I had a hard time finding a lotion vs spray for itching for my pup so I was happy to find this product and all the good reviews. My only issue is the Unscented is not no scent. There is a smell. I am not overly offended by the smell, but I don't like it and would not buy it again.
