Not only did the strap that you put around the headrest came off the seams within the first week of use. Later, I found out that the back of the protector ruined part of the leather seat by bleeding stains onto my leather seat. Lucky for me I was using an additional bench seat cover, so it only stained parts of the seat. I tried to use a leather cleaner to no avail. Little did I know that protecting my seats meant leaving stains on them. I've only had the car 3months. I purchased two of these and now my entire back seat has little black dots. I thought it was perfect product to protect my car leather seat from any scratches or tears from my kid's booster seat. However today when I tried to clean the car and removed the seat protector, to my shock, I found the car seat protector actually stained my leather (with bluish dots you can see in the picture). I tried to clean it with leather cleanser but did nothing to remove the coloration. I am very disappointed and afraid this is a permanent damage. This is supposed to protect my seat not permanently damage it. I wish I knew this before I made the purchase.
