**Q: So, which side is the hard side and which is the soft side?  All I can find is that one is red and one is yellow.**
A: Yellow is the hard red is soft ....I install cabinets for a living and this hammer is perfect for working with finished materials

Made in USA! This is an awesome hammer. Used it putting together our sunroom kit for putting on the vinyl cladding. Worked perfectly.

Used this the first day out of the box. Has to micro-adjust a table saw setup. Worked beautifully for tapping the cast wings into the perfect position. I'll keep this on my main bench.

I am a professional carpenter and I love all my estwing hammers. This particular hammer is great for various applications where you don't want to leave a mark, like office furniture construction, cabinets, casework and trim. It is also good for automotive work. I don't give it a five star because the handle, while comfortable, is not 100% ergonomic.
