Plus, I found a good deal on the older model.Personally, I wouldn’t consider using one of these planters indoors, especially the older model. They are messy! The Meiwo planter is larger, has much better pockets that hold more soil and has a satin like fabric layer on the back of the felt that helps reduce water movement towards the outside rear. If hung on a wooden fence it would be less likely to cause water damage. The older model is just one layer of felt.I do have a suggestion for making these easier to water. Add drip irrigation! You can see adjustable droppers in the photos, but I have ordered some 1/2 gallon per hour drippers to replace them. I just could not get the water flow equal and slow enough with the adjustable drippers.All I did was cut a slit in the back of the fabric and pulled the drippers thru. Watch out for your fingers! I sliced one with the scissors. I wish I had thought of this BEFORE I planted the strawberries.It would be really nice if the manufacturer would sew in a buttonhole that could be opened or not depending on their watering plan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A++ For Balcony Garden *by on Reviewed in the United States August 11, 2020* After looking at planter options to work with my available gardening space (balcony in a city) I read a few reviews for this vertical planter. Thankfully I purchased when they had updated the product to a new spec. Wanted to wait until I used it for a few months before reviewing. The design, material, quality, size and price were all great. They even came with extra zip ties. I strongly feel that other reviews I read on the new spec* that were saying water poured over the front didn’t plant/ add soil or water properly. I did not have any issues and had basil, chives, green onions and cilantro that I watered 2x a day. Aside from the desire to maximize the space used for planting, it also allowed for some shade for other plants to thrive.
