This wasn't for a competition, or by doctors orders, or anything like that, so I wanted one that was inexpensive. This seemed to fit the bill. I have owned it for 6 months, actively used it for 3, and it works wonders! Whenever I real my goal (which I have set at 10,000, but it can be set at anything), it beeps to let me know, which is nice as I actively work to reach my goal, and then work normally afterwards. I had problems at first as to where to clip the darn thing. I tried several places, and most of them did not work because of the type of clothing I wear. Once I figured out that I can clip it to my sock, it's worked great. The clip works great. It will fall off if I run into a table and smack it off my leg, but other than that, it stays on. I NEVER had issues with the reset button, as it takes more than a quick press to reset. I've never tried to "Press and hold" because I don't want it to reset. The programing was easy enough, the instructions were clear. Yes, I had to open the booklet, but once I did, it took me all of 2 minutes to program EVERYTHING I wanted.
