We cut it to fit as AC filters, and it works just as well as the ones costing much more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value and effective *by E***E on July 27, 2020* I purchased this bulk filter media for a Fluval 207 canister filter. Previously, I tried filter floss but It was difficult to get an even amount of floss in each tray in addition to bio media in each tray. The problem was that the at the thinner areas it seem to be inevitable let all of the detritus flow though those areas while having very little filtration in the denser areas. It was also difficult to make sure that the floss actually stayed inside the tray while stacking the other trays and lid on top of each other. The Koral pad is a good value. It cuts easily. I can cut it over sized to make sure that there aren't any particles passing around the sides of pads and it compresses easily if I want to add a pouch of purigen into a tray. This is an all around good choice for anyone that does not want to pay for precut media and it is a very effective filtration material.
