I will never find out if it’s UV effective but it works well as a bed vacuum and I think it makes better contact with the bed than any of the Dyson attachments. Those were too strong and sometimes yanked at the seams I was afraid it was going to rip the fabric. It also works on the side just keep it flat on the surface. I’ll be using it on the couches too.
