The break down could be designed even smaller than it is currently sold creating an additional screw joint directly after the bend. I cut and modified mine to do just this and now this thing is ultra-portable. Furthermore, it allows for extension options were not available before. As most of you won’t have a machine shop to alter this, the package is still great I prefer high speed low drag and modifying anything to get exactly what I want. Review: Nice and portable - I have the previous model, and although it takes longer to assemble, I like the results better.
