Designed and crafted to introduce young people to the art of woodworking, JJs Knife Kits offer precision laser cut parts that fit together to create a fun and unique knife. The Original knife kit features a Cherry canoe style knife blade with a Maple body, while the Trapper knife kit is a two bladed knife with a Walnut body and Maple blades. Once assembled these knives work flawlessly and feel like a real pocket knife, but the best part is that you get to finish them anyway you want. Original measures 6- 1/8" overall length, 3- 7/16" closed. Trapper measures 6- 1/4" overall length, 3- 7/16" closed.

Our deal is if he takes care of it and does not brake it he will receive my Barlow pocket knife that has been handed down 5 time from Grand fathers to Grand sons so he can hopefully hand it down to his grand son.

**Q: Does it have sharp edges? Does it cut once its assembled?**
A: No. It is just a wood knife. No sharp edges - does not cut anything.

**Q: Someone gave my son one of these as a gift, but it was missing the instructions in the pins. How would I go about getting replacement pins?**
A: Contact Jameson Woodworks at help@jamesonwoodworks.com and they will send you what you need.

**Q: is there any metal parts at all?**
A: Yes, three, they hold it all together. However, I used toothpicks that I broke down, and wood glued them in, then sanded them a touch.

**Q: Is this durable for play once built?**
A: I believe this is a great kit to teach the concepts of making a lock blade knife, and that is can be used for mild careful play. It is wood and will break. I did it with my grandchildren as a craft project. My hope is that they keep the knife as a keepsake of grandpa!

fun for kids i used it as a gift i recommend it for boys if you wont the kids really be more Enthusiastic about it i recommend if you carve there names on it its really fun but not for long !
