They peel open, leaving the other two sleeves fresh until needed.There are three sizes included . . . the smallest is perfect for whiteheads but the largest is still too small for my cystic acne. The plastic they are on is perforated so they are easy to remove from the backing without rolling and wasting the dot. These stick nicely to my skin and don't hurt or leave a residue when I remove them.
