The interface is ready to connect using the app.. Three slow, blue flashes repeating... indicates the connection is complete. Just FYI: The green light glows when power is connected to the device. If you are having trouble with the setup... do yourself an favor and do a factory reset by pushing and holding the factory reset button until the amber LED turns on (takes about 8 seconds), then release the button. NOTE: This will revert the device back to the original factory firmware as well as erasing any user settings you may have made. Once you reconnect to the network, during setup the device will automatically download any updated firmware. Besides the ever popular "I don't know. There is some bad information in this thread. Unfortunately, I unit cannot be used with this product so I am not a verified buyer. I had a great deal of trouble finding an answer. There are several such charts on the several Mitsubishi websites and some are not complete. With a bit of work, I found the below sites that give the most complete list of compatible units. Be careful, sometimes compatibility differs by one digit in the model number. When thinking about ordering this, make sure you pull the most current list of compatible systems. My system was not listed as compatible on the early 2017 list, but a control board change in late 2017 made my unit compatible with the device. All your unit needs is the CN105 connector on the secondary control board. My unit is the MSZ-HM12NA-U1, and was installed in January of 2018.Installation was easy, just plug it in and extend the wire to where you want the module to sit. I routed mine through the wall, and have it hidden in the drop ceiling. Configuring it was easy with the Kumo Cloud app. System has been flawless in the 60 days since I installed it. If you have basic mechanical/electrical skills, up you can install this and get it operating correctly in a short period of time.The comments below about the control and Kumo app needing WPS are no longer valid. Both have been updated and work better than was the norm with previous versions. The control will connect with the basic wifi info you would need to set up any other wireless product; the SSID and password. I lock my SSID down with MAC access control and a hidden SSID, and I had no problem getting it connected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall installation was very easy but not straight forward *by S***3 on August 8, 2020* First off, the location of my unit is above a staircase. The access panel where the CN105 port is located is on they right side making it the tallest point of the unit to reach. I had to get very creative just to locate and reach the port given they height/location challenges.That aside (which contributed to the length of my installation), this is very easy for anyone who's comfortable removing the cover and panels necessary to access the circuit board. I found a few Mitsubishi videos that demonstrated the basic things I needed to do in order to get to the right spot.The biggest "almost hurdle" I ran into was adding the device to the app. I found a Mitsubishi video that walked through the addition of a device since it wasn't apparent how that worked in the app. Adding a device required a technician PIN...I was like huh? Thankfully someone in the Q&A here said you could use 9999 or 0000. That was the only thing I thought was going to be a showstopper.The app is "ok" - it is very slow to change settings across the Internet (at least 30 seconds). That could be my Internet but I doubt it. Overall, it works just fine and is exactly what I needed. I wish the unit cost a bit less but it did the trick. ### ⭐ Major design flaw making it incompatible with dual band routers / hotspots *by S***. on September 20, 2020* If you have a dual band router or hotspot, you need to use different SSIDs or disable 5G.
