The maximum height of the Potty Training Ladder from the floor till the bottom of the seat is a maximum of 20". if up till the top of the seat, it is 24".

**Q: What is the minimum height for the seat? Our toilet is just barely under 16 inches to the seat, I'm wondering if it will adjust that short?**
A: yes.  It will adjust from very low to a high pedestal toilet.  Very good product!
