Crown Suspension Front 2" Drop Lowering Coil Springs 2009-2017 Dodge Ram 1500 * V8 Models - This kit includes a pair of 2" Front Lowering Springs. Our springs are wound from the highest quality spring material available. Hot wound springs are quenched and tempered. Both hot and cold wound springs are stress relieved in a continuous oven, shot peened to increase fatigue life, and set removed to guaranty the springs do not sag over time. We have state of the art load testing capabilities to ensure that the coil springs conform to the required load and rate specifications. All our coils are powder coated a gunmetal grey. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder coat creates a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint so that it does not wear rust or chip like conventional paint.
