So far I've been very impressed. Looks wise, well, it's a "gaming" router and not exactly subtle, but whether you like the design is subjective. So it's doing its best to spare me adverts. The inbuilt virus protection is nice to have, too, and the router gets fairly regular updates which are easy to implement via the interface. Wifi signal is pretty good, depending on where you place it. As stated above, mine is in my downstairs hallway, but when I connect to it using my Quest 3 headset while upstairs in my bedroom the connection speed is superb, well over 1000Mbps, so no danger of lag or drop. This is handy not just for guests, but also for any of those IoT devices that want internet access and need your WiFi password, but might have questionable security - like a hard-coded password. You can run these on the guest network and have it separate to the rest of your gear) **Q: Can you replace the sky q hub with this ie does it support mer ?** A: Sky q is a beast unto itself. Short answer yes, u may get a conflict when setting up your boxes for the router. Sky don't say this but just enter the sky q install setup and change the wireless channel. I had to do this back when I had a bt smart hub as the wireless frequency used by the q boxes to communicate with each other conflicted with the routers frequency although the asus router is more customisable than the bt sm so could do it that way. The issue is the sky q main box can't communicate with the mini box, Internet is unaffected if this clash exists but it's an easy fix if your tech savvy **Q: Can it replace Vodafone gigabox router?
