Is the light gray see-through? TY** A: My dress is 65% cotton and 35% polyester. I have it in white, so can't say if the gray is see-through. However, in the sunlight I believe mine is somewhat see-through. It is a comfortable dress. I ordered the white first in a L and wanted it a bit more snug so I ordered the red in a M. The white was actually a few inches shorter that the red. I didn’t mind either way. The L ended up shrinking and now fits like the M. I do sporting events that are overnight or where there is a nicer evening event where I want to be able to stuff something in a bag and quickly change in a wash-and-go way. I find knit dresses are great for this purpose. I usually go with black, but, wanted to try this blue striped one. I'm 5'4" and often wear flip flops or flat shoes. So, maxi dresses usually drag on the ground and get filthy or can even be trip hazards. This one is the perfect length. I'm in the middle of small and medium and got the small because sometimes empire waisted dresses can be unflattering, and the larger size would be longer and I didn't want it to drag, as I mentioned above. It was definitely the right choice as far as how it fits, but, you can see the that the top is a little stretched because the white background shows through when the fabric is stretched. I don't think it's noticeable to anyone but me. The bust measurements are the limiting factor when choosing a size, as you'd expect from a cut like this.
