However, even with socks on they are hard to keep in place and in some shoes and boots they do not fit well with my size 7 feet, because the toe separators stick up above the top of my toes. Also, because they are transparent they are hard to find if they fall off. They would be great for someone elderly who is mostly sitting or in bed, but not so good for an active athletic person. Some people had trouble with them not staying in place. If I am doing power walking, of course, I would need the orthotics, but for a normal day of light walking this totally relieved my neuroma pain. They are very comfortable, easy to wear, and stay in place.
