Dd I need to buy expansion modules?** A: The stock base unit is 6 stations. If you select the one that says 30 zones then it come with all the modules to make 30 zones. Thank you **Q: What does it mean when it states: 120v, 230V, 240V?** A: You can use standard 110 or 220 to power it. short answer. It can be powered by any one of those three sources but it needs to be wired to code in your location. All is easy to do or have done. You'll still see installations though ( i don't recommend this version) where someone DIY wired it to a 110 extension cord for example. The female end of the cord is cut off, wire stripped back and attached to controller inside the panel. The other end plugs into a regular wall outlet. 120v ( think 110 standard household voltage wall outlets etc). 230 -240 (most people just think of it as 220 volts which you'll see around lake pumps, well pumps, boat lifts or even a dryer etc). Its nice to have that option on a controller when installing where there is already to 220v. So many advantages there but by going 220 but nothing wrong with going 110 either. Be careful and consult a licensed electrician where you are if you have even the slightest but of doubt. This is a great controller.
