We usually wind up precariously perching the adaptors on top of the detectors and they often fall off. Not sure what Amazon and the manufacturers were thinking. So I only have two types of fiber connector in the plant: LC ad ST. The laser that I have only works for ST so when I need to test LC, this adapter is required. Works fine.
