Yes, it all glass, but also solid. I use it everyday, along with my other coffee systems. I do the gooseneck pour over in the direction of the tornado. Stays cool to the touch and I use 92 degree C water because of the high altitude in Bogota, Colombia. Easy to clean, I use it with 1 of my 3 Brewista pots per day. I also appreciate the stand, because pulling the tornado before the last bitter drops this stand holds all of it.
