## Description

The OEMTOOLS 25136 Automotive Tune-Up and Brake Bleed Kit is here to give you excellent one man brake fluid bleeder performance and quick brake bleeder kit one person operations for your professional or DIY jobs. Easily flush the brake fluid in your vehicle with our brake fluid bleeder kit by choosing one of our rubber cap adapters. Syphon automotive fluid using the brake bleeder pump. The brake bleeding vacuum hand pump holds up to 25 inches of mercury and the vacuum gauge reads in inches and centimeters for ease of use. Slow, even strokes on the vacuum brake fluid bleeder create approximately 1 cubic inch of pressure per stroke. Easily identify leaks in your fluid systems by reading the vacuum gauge as you pump. Diagnose vacuum and pressure-related systems, from the EGR to brake bleeding to cooling systems on today's complex vehicles. The vacuum pump kit can also be used for clutch bleeding, sampling, testing, and priming. The transparent hoses on our one person brake bleeder kit allow you to monitor the health of the brake fluid while you pump. Use the manual vacuum pump on a variety of automotive fluid systems, windshield repair, and more. The tight-fitting adapters and other components in the hand vacuum pump and brake bleeder kit ensure that you have a no-mess, no-leak, brake fluid bleeding. Our brake line bleeder kit keeps all your caustic brake fluid contained to the brakes bleeding kit reservoir to protect your vehicle’s parts and make recycling or disposal of old brake fluid easy. Comfortably bleed your brake system with the vacuum brake bleeder kit's (2) 2ft lengths of 1/4 inch brake bleeder hose while you pump the manual fluid transfer pump. This precision-made brake vacuum pump is built for long lasting use. Let OEMTOOLS 25136 Automotive Tune-Up and Brake Bleed Kit remove the need for the traditional two-person brake-bleeding method to give you a quick and functional tool for bleeding your caustic brake fluid.

Review: Nice little vacuum pump - I haven't had this product for long so I can't report on it's long-term durability, but I am very pleased with the quality and useability, especially considering the price. This package says only OEM, but the pump is branded Mityvac and I believe that it's sold under that name as well. The product appears to be designed and sold by Lincoln Industrial of St. Louis, MO. It is manufactured in China. See [...] This set looks a lot like the model MV7000 with one fewer right-angle bleeder adapters. Note however that the MV7000 is rated to produce 25 PSI pressure. The OEM 25136 I received from desertcart can only develop 12 PSI (measured on two separate guages) The set comes with a nice selection of adapters for attaching the pump lines to various vacuum ports and even some plugs for plugging hoses you've temporarily removed for testing. Another accessory that's worth mentioning is a collection vessel that allows the pump to be used for bleeding brake systems or other small hydraulic control systems. It also has two different right-angle adapters for attaching to common automotive bleed fittings. What I didn't expect is that the pump has a second port that can apply pressure. This could be useful for testing controls the require a pressure signal rather than a vacuum signal and can supply up to 12 PSI. By the way, the vacuum port can produce a 25"Hg vacuum as advertised. The pump is very easy to operate to draw a vacuum or apply pressure, requiring only modest hand strength. It has a trigger that can be pulled to release the pressure/vacuum when you're done testing. The release is "all at once" and would be difficult to modulate if that was important. Drawing the vacuum can be done with reasonable precision. Applying pressure is less precise since it's developed by the strength of the pump handle's return spring. But can be modulated if necessary by taking small strokes with the pump. Another unexpected plus is the user manual. It contains 23 well written pages that describe how to use the tool as well as diagnostic proceedures and some theory of operation for PCV valves, EGR valves, Spark Delay valves, electrical/vacuum solenoids, thermal controlled vacuum switching valves (called PVS, TIC, and DTVS by Ford, Chrysler, and GM respectively). The manual also has a section on brake bleeding as well as cautions when working with ABS systems. It even has a separate section dealing with motorcycle brakes and bench bleeding master cylinders. For some reason there are an additional three test procedures specifically for Lawn Boy mower primer bulbs, fuel inlet valve, and tank shut-off valve. The content is repeated in Spanish, French, and German for a total of 70 pages. Even though I have a pretty good general understanding of the systems discussed in the manual, I actually learned quite a few tips and tricks that I didn't know. It was well worth the read. One thing to note is that the documentation specifically prohibits the use of this pump with flammable liquids and gases. I suspect that this is more for safety and legal reasons than anything else. But, who knows, maybe the pump seals wouldn't handle the solvent power of gasoline or alcohols. Air and brake fluid are officially supported and that's what I bought it for anyway.
Review: Good value and easy to use. - Did not work for my brake job but I'm not saying it wouldn't work for you. My brake calipers were Chinese made (Onaion Reeper) so that might have something to do with it? I had to buy a vacuum pump that hooked up to my air tank, that did work for me.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this fit on a 1993 mustang lx with a 2.3l engine? do you sell the hand vacuum pump as well?**
A: Fit of tool adaptor to the pump filler hole not known for this car. However, physical filler bung adapter supplied with my purchase was not soft enough to seal the filler hole. Had to buy a filler cap and modify for vacuum hose fitting....

**Q: Will this work with just pumping and holding breaks without a hand pump?**
A: I do not own this adapter kit for power steering fluid change. However, I can say you will need to purchase the bleeder kit that comes with the pressure pump . You will not need to step on the break as the pump itself extract the break fluid from the line . Just make sure to have a good hose seal around the caliper nipple. If not properly sealed air gets in the line from the nipple base. If you’re just bleeding brakes, then get the brake bleeding kit only. This one is for power steering fluid change I believe. You may also find plenty of videos on this tool and how to properly use it online. Hope this helps. 👍

**Q: Can I get close up pics of the black rubber pieces to see if will work with my 2001 dodge Durango**
A: The skinny rubber piece measures about 3/4 of an inch on the bottom and a little bit over 1 1/2 inch on the top. The big rubber piece measures 1 5/8 inches on the bottom and just about 2 inches on the top. Hope that helps since you can’t post pictures in these answers.

**Q: So. the o-ring fell out of the cup and got lost the second time i used it. where can i get another one?**
A: Go to your local auto parts store such as O’Reilly’s and being the container. Ask for the box of assorted o rings and you’ll be able to go through them and pick which one best suites your needs.

### ⭐ Mity? Not so much
*by X***X on July 9, 2010*

This is not OEM branded but rather MityVac. It claims to perform a whole manner of tests. I was only using it for a brake bleed. It broke the first time I used it, so the name is inappropriate. I had to grease the seals to get a solid vacuum. With reasonable handling a piece of the vacuum gauge housing popped off, followed by the faceplate. I would have been better off with a home made catch can for 30 cents.
