These really are not protein bars - not for me as I don't see these as a meal replacement or even as a protein supplement or protein source at all. They work as a quick snack or as dessert - I love them as dessert because they don't have added sugar so I feel I am having a sweet treat without the added sugar. These were fresh so they aren't hard. These are not sticky either. RXbar has a pretty good variety. Some I am not as fond of - I tried the variety pack and found a few I like. This one may be my favorite.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: 15 grams of sugar?**
A: Yes, the 2 dates alone amount to 12 grams of sugar. Not for diabetic or antiinflammatory diets. That's a whole days worth of sugar for me. Yet, it is all natural and dates have fiber and other nutrients too. Still so much better than a candy bar. I just wish they cut one date for the blueberry, which has 17(!) grams sugar. One less date and one more blueberry, I think would make it more level with the other flavors.

**Q: Is this the same flavor as what used to be called Coconut Cacao?**
A: Yes! We recently changed the name from Coconut Cacao to Coconut Chocolate (it's much easier to pronounce!)

**Q: what amount of sugar is in each bar.**
A: 14grams but it's not "added" sugar. It's from the dates, figs, and small amount of cacao

**Q: There's a lot of complaints on the reviews about mold...i buy these individually a lot at stores.  Are these moldy when buying on Amazon??**
A: Just got 2 boxes of these Chocolate Sea Salt bars today.  They are fresh, delicious, and nutritious. 
I'm glad I got them, and I'm glad I take 75% of Amazon reviews with a grain of salt.

This is the best RXbar product and flavor out of all that I’ve tried. I love the chewy but crispy and oaty texture with the seeds and puffs, and the peanut butter and cinnamon and honey is a great combo. I eat these for on the go breakfast, meal replacement when I’m really busy and forgot to eat lunch, or just a treat myself snack! The protein is enough to hold you over for hours, the calories is not too much, it’s not too sweet, doesn’t have any artificial sweetener or powered protein, and it just tastes darn good. It’s also the best protein bar I’ve tried so far! And relatively affordable compared to some bars.
