The orange color is soft and very attractive. Hotel won't confuse it for theirs. These are weightier than say, a linen kitchen towel, and much softer. Very absorbent. Took it to Greece: shawl, leg warmer on the plane, beach towel, pareo, lounge chair cover, steering wheel sun protector, lightweight nap blanket, seat cushion at the stone Greek theater....and packs down very small. Dries quickly in sun or breeze; but not so much if the air is damp. It was a hit with my companions: they want one; kept borrowing it.Do make sure to follow the washing instructions; it is durable, but a bit less tolerant of hot water and agitation than a terry towel. Note that the woven stripes (not printed) won't fade out over time, and the designs are nice and add some structure to the weave. Embrace orange! The pretty color makes it more believable as a wrap or shawl. You won't be sorry! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So many uses and such a beautiful towel *by E***M on June 22, 2016* So happy I finally purchased one! This one is so wonderfully soft when it comes out from the first washing. As many reviewers also said, this is packaged so cute and great for a teacher, girlfriend, gift etc. I am buying one for my neighbor after we spent vacation with them, she kept commenting on how much she loved mine. I used mine at the beach for the first time, so soft as a beach blanket, used it as a wrap around my waist, used it over my shoulders when I got too much sun, dried off with it. Perfect and stylish! It's about the size of a beach/pool towel and I folded it into quarters and then rolled it up and it fit into the corners of my day bag perfects for travel, nice and small when rolled. I will be getting more for the guest bathroom soon. I can see this being used as a summer throw, a couch throw, decor piece, you won't regret buying this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them...but Wrinkly *by S***N on May 30, 2017* I bought this towel and another from Dandelion Textiles to use as beach towels for my daughter and myself. When I opened the box, I thought there was only one towel in there, they are so thin! They do recommend you wash and iron these towels before use, which I did. I was skeptacle of how much these would absorb and so decided to try it at home before heading to the beach.The towel was super absorbent and soft, although I did NOT use it on my hair (I was worried it would be soaked after that!). We have since taken them to the beach and they are perfect! They hardly take up any space in my bag, yet are large enough to lay out on and I'm 5'10". They are quite absorbent but also dry fairly quickly. I laid on my towel for a while after going in the water. When I was too hot from being in the sun, I wrapped the damp towel around like a shawl and it was nice and cool and shielded me from the sun. ONE NOTE: These towels get pretty wrinkly! You can iron them, but who wants to do that everytime you wash your towels?
