A: These bags have a tight drawstring closure. When tied correctly, the bags will not leak or spill into your aquarium.

**Q: Will the Fine mesh media bag hold Purigen?**
A: In some bottles of Purigen, there can be very tiny resin balls. To ensure all the resin stays in the media bag, we recommend you use our Extra Fine media bags.

**Q: Will this work in my filter?**
A: Our bags will fit almost any size and shape filter. We have several sizes to fit whichever filter you are using.

I use these 5x9 High Flow bags over my gravel-vac (secured with twist tie) or attached to the hose outlet of gravel-vac. Small critters like Ostracods (seed shrimp) will flow through, but baby shrimp and tiny snails will not... Perfect sized mesh to protect my drains and local waterways! These bags are worth the price, made in USA and are quality. My original ones are still holding up, the only reason I'm ordering more is because I haz more tanks (it happens) :")
