I don't know why they do that. The actual calories per brewed cup is 5 calories. **Q: Has anyone cold brewed(24hr) this coffee?** A: we cold brew a box (one half kilo, or just over a pound of coffee) twice a week and we have been doing it for almost six years. we pour it into a gallon pitcher and add tap water (we have great water here in central arkansas) a little over 3/4ths full, stir it and let it sit with a lid on for 17-20 hours. then we strain it with the toddy system. we use a keurig to brew an eight ounce cup of hot water and add a shot (1.5oz) of the coffee concentrate. makes for a perfect cup of coffee. it is already strong, but you can use a 2oz pour of coffee and make it stronger. **Q: does the expiry date start with the month or the date? as it is read differently in Aussie and NZ where date is first..e.g. 12/5/2018 is 12th of May** A: The ones I have ordered have the month, day, year.
