Noticeably louder than a shop vac? Wondering if I should install it in a separate room.** A: It’s actually quieter than a shop vac. **Q: Can this be mounted to the wall?** A: To add it to a wall you would have to fabricate a mount for it to work. The motor is very heavy so make sure you used thick steel to make a mount. I do recommend this unit. It is very powerful and does the job. **Q: Can you reroute 4" hose to a drum than back to the filter bag?** A: Short answer, yes, you can. However, I opted to route the hose from the tool (DeWalt planer) to a 4-inch dust deputy and drum, then to the WEN dust collector. My reasoning was to limit the amount of chips / dust going through the impeller. With this setup, I have only had to empty the bag once in the last year. That time although was my fault because I wasn't paying attention. The collection drum under the dust deputy was full and the chips / dust was just passing through to the WEN. Overall, I've been pretty happy with this setup even though it is pretty basic. **Q: Can the motor be replaced or is it fused on?** A: Bolted on.
