The challenge was removing the old drain plug. A simple bolt with a lock nut the right size made a simple, cost effective extraction tool. The hinges went right on. I recommend doing the slotted holes on the lid first, everything loose and tighten the lower screws on the cooler bottom first. Tighten, (but don't overtighen) everything last.
