My husband ordered me these to proivde support while my ankle healed. I was able to wear them for most of the day, without issue. They provided the support, without it being too constricting. I like that the front is open, as I wore slippers in the house, without issue. I will say that my ankle did swell up to the point that it started to feel constricting. I took it off, elevated and iced, and put it back on the next day. Overall, I am happy with it, but definitely not an all day wear, especially on an injury where you are prone to swelling.
