The earcup foam was the first to go, which I replaced a couple of years ago, and finally decided to replace the cable, which had been slipping from both ends, revealing the wires and had to often push the plastic lining to try and cover them. At the worst of times, the connection was faulty and started introducing connectivity issues. I was surprised to see this product at an affordable price (especially compared with upgrading the entire headset) so I thought I'd give it a try.My biggest pro is that the cable itself is thicker than the original, which sounds like a bad thing, but if you have a QC15 set you know it's *too* thin. It feels sturdier and less twisty, so hopefully a long life awaits.My only complaint is that the headphone side plug (the end that goes into the left ear cup) is not 100% flush with the rest of the shell, and the material is slightly different. This product would be great value for money if it wasn't for the fact both the original one I was sent, and the replacement, were faulty. The audio channels were reversed, meaning that the chords must have been manufactured incorrectly.If you dont care about this, this product is fine. For someone such as myself, who has peripheries and works in video production, this is simply unacceptable. Its the only function a headphone chord has to get right, to deliver the input to the correct output, and it cant do it.I searched online and checked with other devices to see if it was user error, but I got the same result.Seeing as I had the same issue with my replacement, I have little faith that a third replacement would resolve the issue.
