Short term items like bean sprouts, spinach and strawberries last MUCH longer using this product. The seller was very helpful and prompt in addressing my issue. Two thumbs up!I bought this product based on positive reviews. To be fair, when they work they work great. However, I have three lids that keep leaking air. That's a 30% failure. Maybe I just got a bad batch. I'll contact supplier but its really not worth effort to return. The ones that work work well. I've had spinach and bean sprouts in them for just over a week with no degradation of product. Usually sprouts only last a couple of days. Would be nice if I could use my FoodSaver vacuum but the pump provided can be used with little effort. The vacuum pump doesn't work equally well on all of them. Some are very easy to seal and some don't hold the vacuum well at all.I have an electric sealer and other containers that are made for it. These ones have a completely other type pump so if you are looking for a cheap alternative to an electric one this is not it.
