Advantage II now says not to use on cats. Anybody know what changed?** A: Be a bit weary of "they have the same ingredients" argument, yes they do have the same percentage of ingredients but those ingredients may not be mixed homogeneously, meaning if you divvy it up you may get a larger percentage of ingredient over another. When you use the appropriate sized cat/dog vial all of what's in that vial gets put on your pet, so 9% of one ingredient, 1% of another 90% of "other" each and every time in the correct proportions, if for whatever reason the stuff is layered in the tube and you use a syringe to pull out 1/10th you could get 0% to 90% by volume of that ingredient that is "9%" depending upon how well mixed up it is, and Bayer really has no need to mix things up since they are packaging a product intended to use all of it in one shot. So if you use the dog version on cats do try to mix up the stuff in some way, shake the tube, pour it into a smaller container and mix, etc, which in itself is no guarantee things will be mixed evenly, but it's better than nothing. **Q: can you still bathe your dog after using?** A: My vets told me I was told not to bathe 2 days before and after. I had bathed my dog the same day, and though he was totally dry before application, He had no flea control at all a a result. . **Q: How many ml difference in amount for each of the sizes? like, how much per tube. for 10lb and under, large dog, extra large dog etc.** A: Apparently the amount used on a dog doesn't matter much.
