Meaning that every time I put them on cost me $10. I will never buy from that brand again. The worst thing is that if I'd written this review after wearing the shoes only four times, I would have given them five stars, because they are comfortable. The quality control is just not up to par. I wonder how many people who bought these shoes are still wearing them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little tight across the top, but comfy otherwise *by M***8 on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2018* I'm giving these four stars - they are comfy in terms of the platform and foot-bed, however, the straps are super tight, not because of the velcro strap in the back, but rather due to the tightness of the cross of the suede on top of the foot. It definitely pinches, though I do feel it will loosen over time. I saw another customer review about the straps snapping off and I think this tightness is likely the comfort. As I was wearing them around for the first time, I kept tugged where the straps crossed across the top of my foot to start to loosen it up. As I did that, I literally thought to myself, don't pull too hard, you might snap the straps off! So, I think that's likely going to be an issue if you have larger feet (not in terms of length, but if you just have a puffier or bonier foot - I don't know the correct term to use here!). The bone on top of my foot definitely protrudes a bit and my arches are very high; those things combined I think make these slightly tighter than would be comfortable. I tried again and the latest pair only lasted one month. The straps break off from the sole just like in the pictures from some of the other customers. Really cute and comfortable for a very short time.
