It works as advertised and it makes driving without the right leg easy. The device pulls out easily by pulling the ring. Snap back in is easy too.
Review: Good quality, requires some improvisation. - Well made, quality materials. Requires competent dyi skills. Some metal cutting required to fit correctly. Bolts supplied were good quality but did not seem appropriate to the install. Too short to pass through a frame member, and partially threaded so useless to just attach to sheet metal. I used #14 sheet metal screws to fit to the Honda Pilot.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the size of rod and what do mean by adaptive device installer?**
A: My dad installed this for me. He just used a regular drill to bolt it to the floor. I drive a 2006 Saturn Vue SUV and it fits. You can pull a pin out to take the accelerator out so someone else can drive and it goes back in easily. I have been using it for a month and so far so good.

**Q: no i don't mean that i meant where do i put my right food with this left foot accelerator because i have 2 functioning legs**
A: If you have 2 functioning  legs why do you need this device? If you are buying for someone else, but you also drive the same vehicle you can rest you right foot on the petal. The right petal will no longer work once you install it.  It will be locked in place, and will not work.

**Q: what is length at bottom e.g the rod length ?**
A: approx. 12"

**Q: Will this work on a 2009 lincoln MKS?**
A: They are designed with multiple points of adjustments to make them universal.  With that being said, if it does not work out for you, you can return it for a refund.

As a right foot amputee, I needed a way to easily learn to drive with my left foot. This unit made that task much easier than I thought it would be. It worked well for an 1800 mile trip thru South Dakota. The unit works well BUT is somewhat cheap in its construction. It does remove easily allowing others to drive without any obstruction. I will research a better quality unit for future use.
