**Q: will the magnets hold a bag with a couple of lbs of stuff w/o needing to strap it down-- going over bumps or riding hwy at 75mph?**
A: I believe so. Magnets are strong. I went with a Cortech bag on my tl1000r because unlike my cbr 900rr the tank is not steel. It has a fiberglass cover so I needed to buy a bag that could be strapped down. Hope that helped.

A: Yes a Yamaha fit it will
