Review: Great product but you don't get as much for your money - I have been buying all variations of this glue for the past 10 years. The quality has been consistent. What's included has diminished. At first, when you bought the large bottles they use to ship a ton of tiny, very useful spare bottles and caps with your order. These Caps all included a "Gasket" it was ideal for the thin variation. After a few years, their packing got fancier,inside and out. it arrived inn a nicer box, but they sent fewer spare bottles and worse yet, none of the caps included the gasket. Now they downgraded the packing, the interior of the box is not as nice( not a big deal) But there are even fewer spare bottles and still no baskets. I wish they would still include the gaskets and go back to shipping in a plain box and a. This product doesn't need the fancy packaging.
Review: Instant bonds for aquascaping rocks together - This review is for the reefers (saltwater fish and coral enthusiasts) out thrre. This super glue + reef rock mortar is (almost) magic. The bond is almost instantaneous, a second or two at most. It did require work with a chisel, small sledge hammer and a corded hammer drill to get the smaller pieces I needed. Gluing rocks required alot of trial and error for me since I had never done it before. I ended up using most of a 16 oz bottle. Please note I don't work for the company and wasn't compensated to write this.

**Q: is the finish waterproof?**
A: I am not an engineer but I will relay my experience.  I make stick pens from wood (not Kits).  My previous experiences with other finishes were all failures when I tried to carry them in my hot sweat soaked South Carolina pockets.  I switched to a Starbond CA glue finish and it has held up 100% to all of my normal carrying.  I have never tried to submerge them but in all of my normal carrying in wet nasty pockets all day the finish seems impervious to the elements.  I did have one pen suffer some minimal deterioration when I lost it in the grass and recovered it a month later after it sat in the grass through a month of thunderstorms.  Hope this helps.  John

**Q: Does it give out white residue like most superglue do?**
A: The white residue is a result of the glue drying too fast. This can happen when there are contaminants, dirt, oils, or excess moisture present on a surface. Therefore, it's advised that you properly clean the surface before applying the glue. Other times the white residue may appear is when too much glue is applied to a surface and the user wipes the glue off with thin tissue paper. In such case, the glue may scratch off tiny pieces of the tissue paper, leaving some of the tissue fibres on the surface. To conclude, this is a superglue and it can leave a white residue. But, if you consider the details explained above, you'll have no problem.

**Q: Will this hold the strap Into a rubber beach sandal**
A: Superglue holds rubber tenaciously and is waterproof when dry. This will work better than rubber cement which would be the wrong product for such a repair.

**Q: what materials do you use this with, such as leather, wood, etc.**
A: I use it mostly for working with wood. Primarily I use it, usually in combination with sawdust, to fill and seal cracks and voids. It also works well to harden a small piece of soft wood when turning things such a pens or hardening a small punky section of a larger piece. It will sometimes work to glue something together, but usually it is too thin for that purpose.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Die hard BSI fan… was.

I was a die hard bsi fan and no one could convince me otherwise. However I had issues gluing up some 3d printed parts and seemed like everyone suggested starbond. I refused to try due to being stubborn and I’ve used bsi for many years. I’ve tried many brands and ended up immediately going back to bsi. I ran out of my precious bsi thin while building my first desk to fill in the holes, so i can do epoxy pour. I finally decided to buy starbond thin to get into the powder and cracks. Worked extremely well and this stuff is THIN, which is good. So, going back to finally trying out to adhere some 3d printed parts, well I finally see why everyone kept saying starbond for this job. Don't be an stubborn idiot like myself, just buy and try for yourself!
