This is a top of the line Pintle hook, made in the USA, from a company founded in 1942.  This is as solid as they come and is over engineered.  The hook comes in a flat black finish and has the safety coupler pin attached by a chain.  This is a classic, solid pintle hook.  You will have complete confidence that the hook was manufactured correctly in Ohio.  I would never go cheap on any component of a towing system, particularly from an unknown manufacturer who sources their products from unknown third party suppliers who can always substitute inferior quality materials. You will never regret paying a bit more for quality USA made products.
