Its low-shedding, easy-care design keeps your living space fresh, while the large size and versatile trellis pattern complement a wide range of modern and eclectic decor styles. Crafted by SAFAVIEH, a trusted brand with over a century of expertise, this rug combines lasting quality with cozy, stylish appeal. ## Description The SAFAVIEH Hudson Shag 282 collection repeats a quatrefoil lattice across a deep shag ground in grey & ivory, a bohemian geometry carried at 1 3/4" of pile. Each rug is power-loomed from polypropylene, dense enough that the lattice stays open underfoot instead of closing up. The fiber resists matting, shedding and fading, so the shape holds its edges through regular use. Hudson Shag 282 belongs in a living room, bedroom or dorm room where the rug is meant to be walked on barefoot. ## Features - [DESIGN & PILE]: SAFAVIEH's Hudson Shag rug sets a quatrefoil lattice in grey over ivory, and its 1 3/4" pile is deep, plush and fluffy underfoot in a living room, bedroom or dorm room. - [SOFT UNDERFOOT]: Power-loomed from polypropylene into a dense 1 3/4" pile that resists shedding and keeps the lattice open rather than letting it mat closed in high-traffic areas, wearing well in an entryway, hallway, home office or dining room. - [EASY CARE]: Vacuum on the highest setting with the beater bar off, and spot-clean with mild detergent and cool water. - [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Packaging creases relax within a few days laid flat, or reverse-roll to help them along. Once settled, the pile shades differently depending which way it is brushed, as any deep shag does. A SAFAVIEH rug pad adds stability underfoot. - [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01MQVW3RO | | Back Material Type | Latex & Jute | | Best Sellers Rank | #572,477 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #5,654 in Area Rugs | | Brand Name | SAFAVIEH | | Color | Grey/Ivory | | Construction Type | Machine Made | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,509) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00889048325609 | | Included Components | Item | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions L x W | 180"L x 132"W | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Thickness | 1.75 inches | | Item Type Name | Moroccan Trellis Non-Shedding Living Room Bedroom Dining Room Entryway Plush 2-inch Thick Area Rug | | Item Weight | 116 pounds | | Manufacturer | Safavieh | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Model Name | Hudson Shag Collection SGH282B | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Durable | | Pattern | Trellis | | Pile Height | Shag | | Product Care Instructions | Vacuum regularly without a beater bar. Lay the rug flat, or reverse-roll and the marks will release within a few days. **Q: Why does my rug look different than the photo?** A: Because the fibers lie in one direction, the rug appears lighter from one end and darker from the other, with the tone shifting as you move around it. Room lighting and screen settings can also affect how the color reads. **Q: Why does my rug shed?** A: A little shedding is normal on a new rug, and it subsides within a few days as the loose fibers work their way out.We suggest vacuuming regularly without a beater bar to help it along. **Q: Why does my rug smell?** A: A light scent is normal after a rug has been rolled and wrapped for shipping. Let air circulate through the room and it will fade within a few days. **Q: How do I clean my rug?** A: Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile, not against it, and skip the beater bar. Blot spills rather than rubbing them. Natural fiber rugs should be shaken out to release dirt and debris, avoid wet cleaning. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/45302279-safavieh-hudson-shag-rug-11x15-soft-plush-modern-grey-ivory](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/45302279-safavieh-hudson-shag-rug-11x15-soft-plush-modern-grey-ivory) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
