Or do I spray it on and just leave it after it dries?** A: For best results, apply to surfaces that are cool to the touch and clean. If deck is dirty, use Star brite Non-Skid Deck Cleaner as Step 1. Spray Non-Skid Deck Wax onto surface to be treated, spreading evenly with a cotton cloth, microfiber cloth or Star brite Reggae Mitt to ensure uniform coverage. Wipe up excess with a clean, dry cloth or Reggae Mitt. Use as often as needed. **Q: Does this make non-skid slippery when it gets wet? I see mention some say it gets slippery. Is that the case?** A: It can if you don't do the "wax off" adequately. So be sure to buff off the excess. The goal isn't to make the non-skid glossy, it's to remove the excess product. Buffing does not make the non-skid glossy in my experience but I have always done this by hand not with a power buffer since I didn't want to wear down the non-skid.
