This looked like it fit the bill, and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the navy, which is almost more of a peacock blue, but very pretty. It was comfortable, cool, not to shear but soft fabric. The dress is a nice length, hitting just above the knee (I'm 5'3"), and the pockets are a plus! I plan to buy it in black as well. I would buy more colors if it came in more dark shades - a lot of the colors are pretty light, and seem like they wouldn't be as flattering. The elastic waist does not cinch in a lot. It is surprisingly pretty cute despite the elastic not really sitting at my natural waist. It's one of my go-to dresses. The fabric on top is cut on the bias so it hangs crooked when I hang it to dry, but once I'm wearing it it falls straight again. Not sure if this will be a problem in the long run. For the price, I think it's ok quality. I hope to get years of wear with gentle care as long as that diagonal fabric doesn't wreck it. I love the design. The cinch at the waist gives it shape and of course, POCKETS!! What’s not to love about that feature?!! This dress can be styled any way you like. Casual with tennis shoes or dressy with a belt and some cute sandals. I bought the blue color and it’s beautifully bold. I’m 5’5, 143lbs, pear-shaped and bought a medium. It fits perfectly. Hits at the knee and roomy for comfort but still gives me shape. The material isn’t see through either.
