But without a insulated box, Luna Ice cooling performance will be greatly affected ! As you can see form the video , the outside weather is directly affecting the temperature of the box meaning the inside is going to be cooking hot ! With a insulated shipping box it will prevent outside heat from getting in but also will keep the Luna ice cold IN the box meaning that -1 degree Celsius will be nice and cold around you’re chocolates, muffins, meat, perishable goods, breast milk & more ! Shipped correctly Luna Ice will keep you’re goods cold and Fresh ! **Q: Is this product good for my kids and husbands work launch boxes I need to keep there things cold? Also have a baby will this keep Breast milk cold?** A: It works great for breastmilk as that is what I purchased it for. I plan on using it for my husbands lunchbox as well. They are a good size and several of the squares can be used at a time if needed. **Q: Can these be used without expanding? If left flat, does this compromise the amount of time they stay cool?** A: If left flat and not watered they will not be any issues. If you only water them slightly of course it will be a shorter time window that it will stay cold. For example if you need slim quick ice packs , for lunch bags or daily activities that would be to long. Then Slim ice packs are good. But if you want a longer lasting one the more you water and expand. The longer and cooler it will be. It all depends on the application you will use it for. **Q: Will this work to ship brrastmilk from texas to florida?** A: You absolutely can ship breastmilk/ breast milk from anywhere in the states ! It’s as simple as having a good insulated lunchbox or insulated cooler, and packing it correctly with Luna Ice dry ice packs ! You should have no problems at all ! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work GREAT! *by on Reviewed in the United States June 28, 2026* These ice packs work exactly as expected and are a great option for shipping items that need to stay cold. They’re easy to activate, freeze well, and stay cold for a surprisingly long time when paired with an insulated box. I also like that they arrive flat, so they don’t take up much storage space until you’re ready to use them. Great value if you ship food, medications, or other temperature-sensitive products regularly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly, they actually work as advertised for me! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 10, 2026* These freezer packs work great for general usage, and as long as you follow the basic instructions, you shouldn't have an issue (barring manufacturing defects). The sheet includes 12 individual "cells" that are perforated for easy separation, allowing you to customize the layout/coverage as needed, and do actually last a surprising period of time.Note that when you first hydrate these, if you place them under running water, watch them closely, as you can hydrate them to the point the cover is stretched tightly, making these more round than flat, and harder to flat pack in your container.I've only used a couple of them a few times, but so far have not had leakage issues, but they are colder than some of the other gel packs I've used (I froze these as per instructions for 24 hrs prior to using them) and did have more condensation on the non-mesh side than with other gel packs.Overall, these have been a great solution for small portable applications (I have a leather dog treat pouch I made for "high value" reward treats, and some snacks for me, I wanted to keep cold/cool), and even on longer walks in 80F+ degree temperatures under direct sunlight for 1+hrs, the contents stayed cold to the touch and fresh, something I've been having trouble achieving with non-gel ice packs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Temperature retention *by on Reviewed in the United States August 9, 2026* Great product for women with menopause needing cooling relief!Wow! just what I needed for a 20 hour flight from USA to AUSTRALIA! I packed in an igloo slim lunch box with an ice floor 2 frozen bottles of water and 2 Xl packs and 2 XS PACKS LUNA ICE. the ice water bottles were still frozen when I arrived. Packed the lunch box in my carryon and the water was still 1/2 frozen after 2 days. I placed the XL Packs in the hotel fridge and the product remained partly frozen. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ice Pack Bulk-Dry Ice for Shipping Frozen Food-Lunch Box Ice Packs-3 Pounds-24+Hours-Slim 15x12in/5x3in-Reusable ice Packs-Freezer Packs-Ice Packs Shipping-Dry ice Packs for shipping-12 Pack-BPA Free - YSSOA 2 Pack Insulated Shipping Boxes with Aluminum Foil Liner,Thermal Insulation Cold Pack Shipping Boxes for Frozen, Reusable Styrofoam Cooler Box, Small Mailing Box, 6’’X5’’X9’’ - Reusable Dry Ice Packs for Shipping & Storage - Long Lasting Cold Packs for Lunch Box & Coolers - Ideal for Frozen Food & Drinks --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/453393586-dry-ice-packs-for-shipping-long-lasting-ice-packs-24](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/453393586-dry-ice-packs-for-shipping-long-lasting-ice-packs-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
