To recap, the Revolution is approx. 20% lighter, has a quad-lock hinge (4 pins instead of 2 in the lock), and due to the new pins, it has a new lever called a "Rock Lock", which is a push and release lock on the sides to adjust the ladder. While any sort of weight reduction is a good thing (when still rated for the same load), don't let this weight reduction fool you into thinking the original model is overly heavy. I have the 22' model, and I find it easy to move around. The quad locks are debatably useful, as I have never felt my 2 pin design was unstable or even the least bit wobbly. The redesigned release locks do sound nice however, as the original ones take a little getting used to. **Q: weight** A: The ladder is not light. If you need a top quality, really well built ladder, that is truly at the top its class this is it. If you only need to use a light weight step ladder for the simplest of jobs this is probably not for you. However, if the terms reliability, dependability, confidence, trust, adaptability, and stability mean any thing this ladder is a top choice. When I worked as a carpenter this ladder was an absolute "go to." I never worried when using it and the multiple position options are really handy. It is simple to use and the wheels make the heavier weight a non-issue. I've had my Little Giant for eight years now and it works like new, shows little wear, and I really appreciate it. **Q: Does the Velocity Ladder break into two short ladders so that it can be used as a scafford?** A: According to little giant: Yes, if you purchase the separate "Little Giant Ladder Systems 26362 Velocity Trestle Bracket Kit". The kit appears to be about $30 via Amazon. **Q: what is the height of the 22' ladder when used/folded as a stepladder?** A: what is the maximum height for the 13' when used as an aframe? ## Frequently Bought Together - Little Giant Ladder Systems, Velocity with Wheels, M22, 22 Ft, Multi-Position Ladder, Aluminum, Type 1A, 300 lbs Weight Rating, (15422-001) - Ladders, Cargo Hold Tool Pouch, Ladder Accessory, Nylon, (15040-001) - Little Giant Ladder Systems, Work Platform, Ladder Accessory, Aluminum, 375 lbs weight rating, (10104) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4534220-velocity-aluminum-ladder-22-ft-reach-15422-001](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4534220-velocity-aluminum-ladder-22-ft-reach-15422-001) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
