No hint of sandalwood, at least to my nose. But its quality is quite high because the smell even after lighting remains the same as the smell in the box, and also remains for a long time after the stick is extinguished. Although I'm not a scented incense person, I prefer a sweet or spicy smell, I'm quite happy with this incense because it somehow keeps a natural smell.
