This fan does not come with the wireless remote (sold separate). I like that the fan is very efficient and quite. For this item you need to run 12 volts to the switch and then run 4 wires to where the fan will mount to the ceiling, This was different then my last fan which had 12 volts at the fan mount with a wireless remote to control the fan speed.
