She has kidney, allergy issues, then had a torn ligament. The wooden ramp was unsightly because we had to add a cushion to make it easier to come up. It’s easier and softer on her paws, has pododermatitis easy to move around and my 4 year old fur baby loves it also, he runs up fast but it doesn’t move or tip and he is fast! She took to the stairs immediately and love them. They are just perfect for her! However, we are disappointed to see that after paying $76 for the stairs, the covering (white) came stained. The stain stands out so much! We reached out to customer service to see if we could get a new covering but was told we could not. We would have to send everything back in order for them to send out a replacement. We live overseas and it can take 2-4 weeks before we receive our items. In addition, our dog enjoys using the stairs so much now (literally up and down them since we set up the stairs) that it's not worth it to send everything back when the stairs themselves are perfectly fine. It'd cost the company less to just send a replacement covering, but it seems like that's too much for them to do. I wish we would have thought about these before he got hurt. Very sturdy & portable. To make it easier, I put the cover on as soon as I removed it from the plastic and let form completely. We taught him how to use it by putting a veggie treat at the top and then put a treat at the bottom a few times. I love it so much that I plan on putting them throughout the house for convenience and safety for our love bug, but they are super easy to move around if you want to just have one and change locations.
