For HARD lenses, not soft. *by on Reviewed in the United States June 21, 2021* I just found out I have keratoconus which causes my cornea to be very oddly shaped. No one could ever correct my vision in my left eye and no one knew why. Finally, I found an eye doctor who immediately knew what was going on. To correct this situation, I need a contact lens called a scleral or "big" lens. This is a hard, really big contact that covers the whole eye and part of the white of the eye. And BOY did it change my vision. I can see 20/15 now when before, I saw a blurry big E and that was it!The problem with these big lenses is that they're tricky to put in and take out. I briefly wore soft contacts and could just pinch them out of my eyes but that can't be done with this hard lens. The plunger is the only way I can remove the lens. It easy grasps onto my lens and allows me to remove it painlessly. It also holds onto the lens so it doesn't end up lost. These lenses are very, very expensive so I can't afford to lose the one I have.If you have soft contacts, this tool won't work well. These plungers are for hard contacts and they work like a charm. I like that these are each in their own little case. I carry one with me in my purse, another in my glove compartment, and one at home. They're simple but necessary for me to safely remove my lens. I got the three pack and the price was great. For me, these are absolute must haves. If you have hard contacts or scleral ones, these plungers will get the lenses out of your eyes fast, easily, and with no discomfort.
