**Q: Will this work to remove riding mower blades?**
A: Depends on how tight the nut or bolt is, this ratchet will take it off. But remember it is not a substitute for an "impact wrench" where it hammers as it loosens, the ratchet does not do that. I tried it on removing break caliber brackets on the front of my car, it did not buldge the bolts until I broke them free with the impact wrench . If it doesn't, it's still a nice piece to have in your arsenal of Dewalt tools. ⭐⭐⭐

**Q: Is there a clutch or some mechanism to prevent stripping of bolt threads with 70 ft/lbs of torque? ?**
A: What causes a bolt stripping is weakness in the material to begin with or improper torque (tightening) causing undue stress.  The DCF512B has a variable speed trigger, therefore the user controls the speed. If the fastener is not able to handle the torque it could cause breakage.
