**Q: Does this contain silicone?  thanks!**
A: This product contains dimethicone as one of the first several ingredients. Dimethicone is in the silicone family. That said, I use this on my long hair at the advisement of my hair restoration salon and don't notice build up, greasiness, etc.

**Q: Is this the legitimate product???**
A: Yes. I use it on my hair both wet before I dry it and sometimes after I dry it. It helps with frizzes (I have straight hair) and adds shine.  I swim a lot so my hair gets dry. This product helps with that dryness. Plus it smells like vanilla cookies when it is first put on the hair. I have purchased it several times.

**Q: Does this hair oil smell like the Smooth Again shampoo?**
A: It smells like vanilla cookies.   I am not familiar with the Smooth Again shampoo.

**Q: Is this the one that also works like a gel? I had one a few years ago, love it, but not sure if it is the same one.**
A: Not like a gel it makes your hair shinny.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than Moroccanoil!

For reference I have fine textured hair that sits right above my shoulders in a long bob. I get highlights and wanted to switch my normal leave in conditioner to a hair oil with added heat protection. Not all hair oils have heat protection so I had to narrow it down. I stumbled upon Kevin Murphy and decided to give it a try. It does everything it claims to do! I apply the oil to damp hair after the shower and before blow drying/flat ironing. It makes my hair feel hydrated, soft, smooth and I love that it has added heat protection so it’s a one and done product for me! It also made it much easier to brush through any tangles. I don’t like using a ton of products but it’s important for me to have a good leave in due to hair bleaching and regular use of hot tools. My hair literally looks and feels so good when using this. Because I have fine short/medium hair I only need two pumps, one on each side. So a little goes a long way. It’s expensive but the bottle will last me a while. I have tried Moroccanoil in the past and I like Kevin Murphy way better. I didn’t have any issues with it weighing my hair down either which is a huge plus. My hair was previously dry from highlights and this has been a huge game changer. I would highly recommend this hair oil! It’s great quality.
